TEXACO® Team AMS sets off with a goal for European championship

TEXACO® Team AMS race vehicles, which will participate in the TCR European Endurance Series with 3 cars and 6 athletes, were introduced at Körfez Raceway. Following the sponsorship agreement concluded in March between TEXACO®, the global lubricant brand produced by Petrol Ofisi Group in Turkey, and Team AMS, the cars and drivers that will compete in the TCR European Endurance Series were unveiled at a special press launch held at TOSFED Körfez Raceway.

Seda Kaçan and Zekai Özen, the pilots of the team that will represent Turkey in the TCR European Endurance Series competitions with the goal of championship, gave the guests a high adrenaline driving experience by getting behind the wheel of the cars that are admired for their new designs.

The joining of forces between the 120-year-old global lubricant brand TEXACO® and Team AMS, the leading team of the Turkish tracks, was welcomed with great appreciation in the motorsport community. Car number 2 of the team will be shared by 2021-2022 Turkish Track Champion Turgut Konukoğlu and Italian pilot Eric Brigliadori, the successful name of TCR races; car number 3 by 2023 Turkish Track Champion Barkın Pınar and young talent and Coppa Italia Turismo DSG Champion Zekai Özen; and car number 4 by veteran national sportsman İbrahim Okyay, winner of 10 Turkish Championships, and successful pilot Seda Kaçan, the runner-up of 2023 Turkish Track.
