Gravis PG 220

High performance industrial enclosed gear oil, produced from Polyglycol (PAG) and designed for working under severe conditions.

Applications

It is recommended particularly for roll bearings operating under elevated temperatures. It can be used in dry cutting process of paper machine, calender bearings, plastic mixers, textile machines, wind power plants, lift gear systems (be cautious for equipment manufacturers recommendation in hypoid gear systems).

Benefits

• Should not be mixed with mineral oils. Oil change recommendation is supposed to take into consideration. • Reduces thermal stress due to its EP additives, extends equipment usage life. • Extends service life in elevated temperatures due to its synthetic structure, maintains stability and supplies lubrication. • Saves energy by reducing frictional forces. • Ability to operate at both high and low temperatures in a wide range due to its high viscosity index. • It is not recommended to be used in systems where aluminum and its alloys are used due the risk of corrosion.
