Kerem Kazaz became the champion of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2024 Turkish Rally Championship, Turkey's most important automobile sports organization, which ended with races held on the Anatolian side of Istanbul over the weekend. With this victory, 18-year-old Kazaz became the youngest champion in the history of the Turkish Rally Championship.
The 44th Istanbul Rally, the last race of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2024 Turkish Rally Championship, ended with a fierce battle, with Kerem Kazaz-Corentin Silvestre team from Parkur Racing taking the first place. With this victory, 18-year-old Kazaz became the youngest champion in the history of the Turkish Rally Championship, while also winning the Junior Championship and the Class 2 title.
Ümit Can Özdemir-Kutay Ertuğrul team from GP Garage My Team finished the rally in second place, while Castrol Ford Team Turkey's Ali Türkkan-Burak Erdener finished as the class 3 winner and third in the general classification.
