According to Turkish Oil Industry Association (PETDER), the Turkish lubricants and chemicals market grew by 4.4% in 2022, reaching a sales volume of 401,439 tons. Petrol Ofisi Group, the traditional leader of the Turkish lubricants and chemicals market, continued its steady growth last year and extended its leadership in the overall lubricants and chemicals market to its 13th year with a market share of over 29%. Petrol Ofisi Group's market share in lubricants and chemicals alone stands at 28.3% and 37%, respectively.
According to PETDER data, Petrol Ofisi Group maintained its leadership in lubricants and chemicals, with total domestic sales of these products reaching 117K tons in 2022. Strengthening its sales in the global and domestic markets, Petrol Ofisi Group increased its lubricant exports to 33 countries in 4 continents to over 16 thousand tons. With its advanced technology, high production and storage capacities in the field of lubricants, Petrol Ofisi Group serves all sectors with a rich product range of more than 400 products at its lubricants plant in Kocaeli Derince, which has an annual production capacity of 140K tons and a storage capacity of 66K tons. Petrol Ofisi Technology Center (POTEM), one of the most advanced centers in its field, conducts an average of 150K tests annually.
